You have 3 attemepts to complete a 1 rep max at each lift.  Warm up, get close to your previous 1 rep, and then begin your 1st attempt at a new PR!!

And you must do the lifts in the order they are listed. You should warm up the back squat as needed, and the shoulder press as well. For the Deadlift you should be pretty warmed up and ready to hit a PR!!

The total is a sum of all 3 lifts.
